Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi is keen to foray into politics post his retirement from International cricket. The 36-Year-Old makes it clear that he doesn't want to play ODIs again after announcing retirement towards the end of 2015 World Cup campaign. But, The All-Rounder wishes to continue playing T20s as long as he can.
Although Afridi have political dreams, Some of his well wishers have cautioned him not to take that risk. However, Afridi is determined to serve the people and according him a politician is a servant.
For now, Afridi is focusing on his charity work. He have plans to provide education to under-privileged kids by starting a school through his Foundation.
In a couple of years, We could surely expect Shahid Afridi to transform into a Politician. Will he be floating a new party or join one of the existing parties in Pakistan?
