Shock to Chandrababu: Govt employees not allow political parties into their stir
The AP Government employees, who are on a warpath with the AP Government over the PRC and the HRA issues, have categorically said that they would not allow any political interference in their strike. This has virtually poured cold water over the opposition TDP, which was planning to enter the government employees strike and derive political mileage.
The employees have categorically told the government that they would not accept the new PRC and HRA related GOs issued by the government. They have also announced a plan of action for their agitation. But at the same time, they have said in no uncertain terms that they would not allow themselves to be used as pawns by the Opposition TDP.
This is a huge disappointment for the TDP, which was planning to get pally with the government employees. This means the employees would ensure that the TDP would not take advantage of their agitation. The employees have categorically said that they would only allow MLCs from the progressive democratic front and the labour union leaders.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu held a video conference with the party leaders and asked them to support the employees' agitation. "it is not important whether they had voted for us or not in the 2019 elections. We should support the government employees, who have been duped by the Jagan government," said Chandrababu during the video conference.
