The Indian who rejected Nobel Peace Prize!

Update: 2016-05-01 07:41 GMT
Spiritual Leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of 'Art Of Living' stunned everyone by declaring that he was offered the covetous Nobel Peace Prize in the past but rejected it. 'I was offered Nobel Peace Prize, but rejected it as I only believe in working and not in being honoured for my work,' he explains.

What's more shocking is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar expressing the opinion that presenting Nobel Peace Prize to Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai is 'politically' motivated. He firmly believes only who deserves need to be honoured and Malala isn't one of them. He finds no use in presenting such a prestigious award to Malala.

Mr. Ravi Shankar visited drought-hit Latur Yesterday to see the steps taken by his Art of Living organization to restore rivers. He appealed Government to take steps to stop farmers suicide and work towards a sustainable model to address water scarcity. He also advised farmers not to take the extreme step just because they haven't been able to deal with drought.
