TDP Fumes As Chandrababu's Security is Further Downgraded

Update: 2020-02-19 06:11 GMT
The Opposition TDP is once again trying to rake up the  scaling down of Chandrababu Naidu's security. The party, which is finding that it is completely isolated on the issue of AP Capital issue, has now decided to make Chandrababu's security an issue to stay afloat.

The party has already questioned the YSRCP government's decision to downgrade Chandrababu's security. Chandrababu used to have a 160-strong security coverage for himself. But, soon after coming to power, the YSRCP has assessed the threat perception and reduced it to 97 personnel. Chandrababu took this as a personal affront and has approached the AP high court.  Meanwhile, the AP government has re-assessed Chandrababu's security and on the basis of the recommendations of the Yellow Book, decided to reduce the security personnel allocated to Chandrababu to 58 persons.

The TDP has decided to make this an issue and is trying to portray this as an act of vendetta. The party demanded that Chandrababu be provided with the kind of security that he had enjoyed as a chief minister.  It said that if something untoward happens to Chandrababu, the responsibility for this has to be borne by the YSRCP government. But, the people seem to be completely unconcerned about this downgrading of security.
