The TDP is giving attractive offers to various TV channels. The channels will have to air half-hour to one hour of dedicated TDP propaganda. For this screen time, the Government will pay them handsome amounts. In addition, they have been asked to air pro-TDP news in every bulletin. Also, though the channels are free to air any content they want, they cannot criticize the TDP. Thus, the 20-odd TV channels will air pro-TDP content in a big way till the end of the Lok Sabha elections. These propaganda items would not be in the form of an advertisement. They would be in the form of news items and would be embedded in the news bulletins. They would be in the form of people's responses about how Chandrababu helped them in getting a pucca house or a welfare pension. They would be embedded innocuously in the news bulletins. This paid news would be difficult to identify. So, no one can object to the airing of these programmes.
