A few projects take a lot of time to get finished and the people in the region have to wait for a longer time for the work to get finished like how the people in the Nellore region have been waiting. Putting an end to the long wait, the long-awaited irrigation project was started by the government.
The Sangam, and Nellore barrages in the Nellore districts were inaugurated by the state government today. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the projects and said people and farmers in the region would be get benefited.
However, the project gave birth to a fight between YCP on TDP on who gets to take the credit for the irrigation projects. While the ruling YCP said the projects were started by YSR and his son Jagan unveiled the projects which is a good thing.
The grand old Telugu Desam Party hit back and said the majority of the works were finished in the TDP regime and Jagan is just taking the credit. Sharing details of the projects, the grand old Telugu Desam Party said the Nellore and Sangam Projects saw 90 and 85 percent of works getting finished in the TDP regime.
The grand old Telugu Desam Party attacked the ruling party for claiming the credit. The party even attached the old paper clippings which say the works of these two projects are going on at a brisk pace.
There is a point in what TDP is saying. After YCP came into power the economy started to travel on a bad path. Forget about constructing projects, the government is unable to pay salaries on time. On the other hand, the government is also unable to get funding from the centre.
