The spread of the novel Coronavirus continues to ring the danger bells in Telangana as the state reported the highest spike of cases in a single day taking the toll of the cases to over 1.16 lakh
Telangana added as many as 3018 fresh infections in the last 24 hours. With this, the total positive cases of the novel Coronavirus mounted to 111688.
As per the information provided by the health bulletin, in the last 24 hours, 61040 samples were tested and 3018 infections were detected. As of now, 1082094 samples have been tested in the state.
Including 10 fresh casualties, the total fatalities in connection with the Coronavirus zoomed to 780. The fatality rate in the state currently stood at 0.69 percent which is less than that of India's fatality rate.
In the last 24 hours, as many as 1060 people were cured and discharged from the hospitals accordingly. So far, 85223 patients have been recovered from the virus with a recovery rate of 76.30 percent. The active cases stood at 25685.
