On the other, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi dropped a bombshell when she wrote to the Municipal Commissioner seeking a 25 KV generator at her camp office due to frequent power disruptions. By this one letter, she has successfully undone all the campaign that the TRS has been doing. The TRS has been claiming that there are no power cuts in the state. But, the mayor says that there are indeed frequent power cuts. This has left the TRS leadership, which is now neck-deep in election campaign, red-faced. Not only has she embarrassed KCR, but even her father K Keshava Rao.
Meanwhile, the netizens began trolling her about her comments. They said since she was in a position of power, she could use the government funds and apparatus to get a generator installed at her camp office, which actually is her home. What about the commoners, they asked.
