President Donald Trump came up with a deal to end the US Government shutdown. He, however, failed to get the acceptance of either Democrats or House Speaker.
As per the new proposal, Young Undocumented Migrants who were brought to the US as children, known as Dreamers, and those from few Central American & African Countries would receive protection. A 3-year extension of protection for Dreamers under DACA Program has been proposed. In addition, It's been assured that there will be no hasty measures to deport over 11 lakh illegal immigrants. This deal was proposed by Trump in exchange for $5.7 billion sought for constructing a wall on US-Mexico Border.
