US President Donald Trump on Friday said his government knows who is the new leader of the Islamic terror group following the death of late supremo Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Islamic State has announced Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Quraishi as its new leader following the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.In an audio message released yesterday, the IS has said that the new leadership, led by new leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashmi, will bring a severe blow to the US. Baghdadi was the world's most wanted man and he died in a US special forces raid in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib on Sunday.
Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi was designated by the United States Department of State as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. The US also stated that Baghdadi's death is a great victory and not a threat.
