Ts Govt Issues Guidelines On How Marks Will Be Evaluated For Inter Student

Update: 2021-06-23 11:54 GMT
In the wake of the Covid spread, the Telangana government has decided to do away with the second year Intermediate examinations for this academic year earlier last week in the recent cabinet meeting.

Now the government has issued guidelines on how the marks will be evaluated for the students as the exams were canceled. The marks earned by the students in the first year will be valued for the second year too.

Full marks will be awarded to the students for the practical examinations. Students with backlogs will be passed with 35 marks. Those who have paid the examination fees to appear for the backlog exams will also be passed.

The state education department said that students who are not happy with the marks can appear for the re-examination once the situation gets under control. A notification would be issued on the exam date.

The Education Department had earlier announced that Class 10 and Intermediate 1st-year students will also be passed. The first year students were promoted to the next class without having to appear for the exams.
