Ts High Court Hits Out At The Government Over Corona Situation In The State!

The Telangana High Court, which heard the petition on the Coronavirus situations prevailing in the state has lambasted the government over the measures to counter the virus spread.

The bench comprising of Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy, has expressed its dissatisfaction over Advocate General (AG) B.S. Prasad’s reply on the measures taken by the state.

Saying that they are very unhappy with the affidavit filed by the AG, the bench said that the affidavit does not contain details on the measures taken to reduce crowds in cinema halls and other places.

The bench said, why the government is not taking any key decision to reduce the crowd at pubs and cinema halls and asked if the government is interested only in income. Will the government take action or the Court shall issue orders, the bench asked.

During the hearing, Justice Vijaysen Reddy has also sought a response from the government on why the hospitals are not admitting Covid-19 patients unless they develop serious symptoms.
