Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday said he was tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was under home quarantine.
"I have tested positive for #COVID19. As I am asymptomatic, as per doctor's advice I am in home quarantine," he tweeted.
On Monday, Pralhad Joshi visited Thirumala and also participated in the Sundarakanda Patanam. This caused panic among all the officials involved in the Union Minister's visit.
As of now, many Union ministers, several Ministers in the state cabinet and a number of legislators across the country have tested positive for the virus and most of them have either recovered or under-recovery.
