In a shocking incident , Telugu TV artist, Vijay Rani who played several important roles in Telugu serials including Mogalirekulu was absconded after duping her colleagues of Rs 10 crore.
Vijaya who played aunt and mother roles in serials always maintained a low profile, but slowly managed to gain the confidence of her neighbours in Filmnagar. Vijaya started a chits business at her house and collected huge sums about 10 crore from co-artist and neighbors.
After gaining their trust, she would encourage them to invest in chit funds.According to reports; Vijaya Rani collected almost Rs 10 crore and has been absconding since last week.
Meanwhile her colleagues and some of TV artistes filed a complaint against Rani in the Central Crime Station (CCS). Search has been launched to nab the absconded actress.
