UN Warns Islamic Threat In Kerala And Karnataka

A United Nations report has warned India that there are a significant number of Islamic State of Iraq & Syria(ISIS) terrorists in Kerala and Karnataka.

As per the report, around 150 and 200 militants of the al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent terror group from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar, is planning attacks in the region.

"The group reportedly has between 150 and 200 members from Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and Pakistan. The current leader of AQIS is Osama Mahmood who succeeded the late Asim Umar… AQIS is reportedly planning retaliation operations in the region to avenge the death of its former leader," the report said.

On the other hand, the report also said that nearly 6500 Pakistani militants were spotted in Afganisthan and there is a great danger for the country with the terrorists.
