Vizag TDP is in totters. The leaders are leaving the party and the MLAs are joining the YSRCP. The party cadre is confused and the party does not know whether to oppose or support Vizag as the administrative capital of AP.
So, what is bugging the TDP most these days? Surprisingly, it's not the MLAs leaving in drones and the leaders defecting. It's the Vaastu of the Vizag city TDP office. TDP leaders feel that the bad vaastu is the reason for the downfall of the TDP in Vizag. The location which is at the dead-end of the road has what the Vaastu experts call as 'Veedhi Shoola' which is considered very inauspicious.
They argue that at least two of the district TDP presidents had defected to the YSRCP while in office. For instance SK Rahman, a two-time MLA has joined YSRCP even while he was holding the post of district president. Similarly,Vasupalli Ganesh too did the same. Now Ganta Srinivasa Rao too is no longer with the party.
Hence the new president Palla Srinivas has decided not to set his foot in the district office. He is operating from the Gajuwaka office of the party and not from the office, which is right in the centre of the city. He is said to have indicated that he would enter the city office only after the Vastu issue is settled.
