Former TDP Minister Vijaya Rama Rao on Sunday joined TRS in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. This is huge blow to Telugu Desam ahead of the crucial GHMC Elections.
Recently, Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao met Vijaya Rama Rao a his residence and invited him into TRS. Soon after this development, Chandrababu Naidu tried his best to stop Mr. Rao from leaving the parent party but all his attempts failed.
Earlier, Vijaya Rama Rao won as MLA contesting in Khairatabad assembly segment on TDP ticket. He served as Minister in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet.
