The 2021 edition of the Mrs. India beauty pageant that was held in Rajasthanâs Udaipur saw a Telugu woman being crowned the beauty crown. To win the beauty pageant, the Telugu woman had to defeat her opponents and go through various rounds. In the end, her hard work had paid off.
The 9th season of the Mrs. India event had lasted for four days and Billupati Mallika was declared the winner. In total 24 contestants across the country took part in the event. The selection process went on for six long months and 12 contestants had made it to the final list of the beauty pageant.
As a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada native Billupati Mallika emerged victorious in the event. Though a few ladies have made it to the list from the two Telugu states, only she stood strong and forayed into the finals.
Billupati Mallika hails from the temple city Vijayawada and earned a Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree. She had won other titles like Misses Amaravati in 2019 and was declared runner-up of the Misses AP event held last year. Given the pandemic situations, the event was held in a virtual manner.
She received massive support from the voters in the beauty pageant. During the event, she had managed to attract a good share of votes from the voters.
