Young Jagan's political strategy and deft moves are making the YSRCP very important at the national politics. Indications are that so impressed the BJP leadership is that it is all set to request the YSRCP to join the NDA government. It is also willing to offer the vacancy created by the exit of Shiv Sena from the NDA to the YSRCP. The NDA, especially the PMO, is giving lot of importance to the suggestions being given by the YSRCP MLAs.
The BJP needs YSRCP as it has 22 MPs in the Lok Sabha and two MPs in Rajya Sabha. By March next year, the YSRCP will win four more Rajya Sabha seats and will increase its strength to six. This will make it very important for the BJP, where it still falls short of the majority mark. So, YSRCP will play a very important role in ensuring that the BJP bills get passed in Rajya Sabha.
Highly placed sources say that if the YSRCP joins the NDA, its Dalit MP from Amalapuram Chinta Anuradha may even be made the deputy speaker of the Lok Sabha and Vijaysai Reddy may be made a minister in AP cabinet. But, everything depends on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision.
