Why Did Amit Shah Refuse To Meet AP CM?

Update: 2019-12-07 04:07 GMT
Is the BJP-led Central Government turning a deaf ear to the concerns of Andhra Pradesh? Why did Amit Shah not meet AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy? Though Amit Shah was very much in Delhi, he did not find time to allot to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Despite the best efforts of MPs Vijaysai Reddy and Mithun Reddy, both the Prime Minister's office and Union Home Minister Amit Shah did not give time to YS Jagan.

This is almost a repeat of October 21 experience, when Jagan did not get time to meet Amit Shah. His visit had to be confined just to greet Shah on his birthday.

Interestingly, AP Chief Secretary had a host of meetings with the Union Home Minister in the latter's chamber. In fact it was a series of meetings on Thursday.  On Friday too, Shah did not give time to Jagan. Finally, Jagan had to cut short his visit as his personal staff Narayana died in Hyderabad.  Strangely, during this time Amit Shah met former MP AP Jitender Reddy, YCP MP Rahuramakrishna Raju and BJP MP CM Ramesh. But, he could not find time to meet YS Jagan. This is like a re-run of October 21, when Amit Shah gave time to Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind, but had not time for Chandrababu Naidu.

Significantly, on both the occasions, Jagan had fixed up appointment. Despite this, he was not given time and had to return empty handed. Why is the Central Government doing this? Is it unhappy with YS Jagan in any which way? Why is it ignoring the CM of a very important state this way?
