A war of sorts is breaking out in the Telangana BJP these days. The new team formed by the new president Bandi Sanjay has given rise to lot of heartburn and several seniors are upset at being omitted from the team. To add to it, key leaders of the party are angry that the names they suggested have been ignored. As if this is not enough, Sanjay himself is said to be unhappy that he has now elbow space in decision making.
Sources say that Sanjay is unable to take any key decision. He is forced to consult organizing secretary Mantri Srinivasulu and Garikapati Mohan Rao at every step. In fact, both Garikapati and Mantri have emerged as a strong coterie and they are said to be interfering in Sanjay's work at every step of the way. Sanjay is said to be complaining about this to his close associates. While Srinivasulu had his say in deciding most of the conveners of party wings, Garikapati, who came from the TDP, has his men firmly entrenched in the team.
If sources are to be believed, Sanjay had even thought of complaining to the party's national leadership, but refrained as it is too early. But according to sources, the differences are only bound to increase in the coming days.
