Till recently, he was spewing fire on political rivals and was busy taking on the biggies from the TDP. His attacks were pyrotechnics for his enemies. We are talking of Rajya Sabha MP and BJP stalwart GVL Narasimha Rao. But, today, he has fallen suddenly silent and there is no press conference from him. He has stopped criticising anyone these days. Why?
Till the time of 2019 elections, GVL exposed TDP leaders one by one and shot off searing questions to them. Many a time, the TDP leaders found it very difficult to counter him. Such was his verbal harangue. But, these days, he has fallen completely silent. Sources say that GVL is finding it difficult to stomach the fact that many of the people he had virulently attacked are now in the BJP. They being Rajya Sabha MPs are much in demand and that he cannot criticise them anymore. These three TDP turncoats, who are quite influential, may have brought pressure on GVL to keep quiet on TDP. Sources also say that there is no clarity whether the BJP will ally with both the TDP and the Jana Sena. Both these parties are now trying to woo the BJP. The recent statements by TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena show that they are trying to get into the BJP good books. So, he can neither criticise the TDP nor the Jana Sena.
It is because everything is so fluidy that GVL is maintaining a studious silence. He must be feeling that it is better to remain silent at such a time. That should explain why the firebrand leader is so quiet these days.
