For years, he had decided the fate of the BJP in undivided AP. He played a key role as a union minister and as the governor of Maharashtra. But, of late, he seems to have been largely forgotten. He is not being consulted even on key matters.
Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao the name needs no introduction. Popularly known as Sagar Ji, he had played a key role in the party for decades. But, it appears the party no longer needs him. After he retired as the Governor of Maharashtra, Sagar Ji came back to Hyderabad and again became a primary member of the BJP. He had even said that he would work like a loyal soldier of the party. However, he has not been considered for any post. Even when Bandi Sanjay was considering a new committee, no one consulted Vidyasagar Rao.
Sources say Bandi Sanjay too belongs to Karimnagar district like Sagarji and most of those who tormented Bandi Sanjay all these days and tried to eliminate him from the party, belonged to Sagarji's team. So, Sanjay is completely ignoring Sagarji in the party affairs.
