Why were these Revanth supporters left out in TPCC?

Update: 2021-06-30 03:57 GMT
Two prominent women leaders who have backed Revanth Reddy to the hilt are now feeling left out in the new PCC. The leaders – former MLA Konda Surekha and Mulug MLA Sitakka – have rooted for Revanth Reddy. But, in the latest stitching together of the PCC team, both did not find a place.

Sitakka, a former Naxal, is hugely popular in her constituency and has a history of spirited fights with the TRS. She is known for her hard work and aspired for a respectable position in the party. However, it did not happen. However, she reconciled to the reality and went along with her supporters to congratulate Revanth Reddy. As for Surekha, the story is different. Surekha and husband Konda Murali have made tall claims about their influence in Warangal west. But in the recent GWMC elections, the party could not retain the security deposit even in one of the 20 divisions in Warangal West. This poor performance was a huge disappointment for the AICC observers.

Hence, the high command felt that there was no point in promoting the Konda family. Sources also said that Konda Murali's abrasive dealing with the party cadres too was said to be a strong reason for the poor show of the Congress. It is time he realizes that the old mould politics are a thing of the past, sources said.
