Will Prime Minister vacate his official residence?

Update: 2021-06-17 06:28 GMT
Will the ousted Prime Minister leave the official residence or not? This is the question that is being hotly debated in Israel these days. Prime Minister for 12 years, Benjamin Netanyahu, has recently been ousted and an 8 party coalition has come into power with Naftali Bennet as the prime minister.

Israeli media is printing cartoons that show Netanyahu and his family members as squatters. Netanyahu has a house in the seaside town of Caesarea. But he has recently hosted former US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley  at the prime minister's official residence. This has happened after he had stepped down as the PM. This is giving rise to speculations that he is no mood to vacate the house. Many have criticised Netanyahu for hosting the dinner

The Netanyahus have lived continuously in the residence since Netanyahu was elected 12 years ago, in 2009. He served an earlier term of three years, from 1996-99.

In countries like the US, there is a specified timeframe for the outgoing prime minister / president to vacate the official residence. However, in countries like India and Isreal, there is no specific timelines for this. As a result, the outgoing leader might take his time to leave the house.
