YCP, TDP Playing Key Role There?

Update: 2023-04-10 11:57 GMT
This may sound weird. But we have to believe this as it is very close to reality. Getting into the details, Telugu voters play a key role in the Karnataka elections. With this, it has become interesting to see what decisions YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu would take. There are 224 Assembly constituencies in Karnataka. Telugu people are key in 70 constituencies among them. Telugu voters are in big numbers in 40 constituencies.

Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Udupi, Hospet, Tumakuru, and Ballari see Telugu people in big numbers. So we can say that Telugu parties can have an impact in the upcoming Karnataka elections. Considering this, the political parties in Andhra Pradesh send their leaders to campaign for the Karnataka elections. During the previous elections, Chandrababu Naidu campaigned against the Bharatiya Janata Party openly. But YS Jagan indirectly supported BJP.

Now it has become interesting to know what Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would do. Given his long political career, Chandrababu Naidu's impact would be there on Karnataka state. Though Jagan might also have an impact, it will be limited. But he is going to become key. Mining king Gali Janardhan Reddy, who is very close to Jagan, fielded candidates from his party. Surprisingly, he did not field candidates across the state and he picked only limited candidates.

Gali Ganrdhan Reddy almost announced candidates for around 70 constituencies in the districts where he has a good hold. The situation of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is not that great there. Many pre-poll surveys are predicting the Congress party's win in the poll-bound state. The top leaders feel that it would be good if more key leaders support the Bharatiya Janata Party. This is making the opinion of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu interesting. All eyes are on them now. The observers say that the chances of parties getting an advantage if the two leaders support them cannot be ruled out. In the current situation, there are no chances for the two to support others leaving out the BJP. Jagan's importance is dependent on the seats Gali wins in the polls.
