US:Indian Convicted In Animal Abuse Case, Slapped With Jail!

Going into details, an Indian student in Dallas was slapped with a jail term for torturing cats. Hearing a petition, the court said that what the convicts did was inhumane and was awarded with a jail term of six and a half years.
Indian student Shubhankar Kawle was convicted of animal abuse and he tortured two cats. His heinous crime came to light when the family which owns the two cats put up a CCTV to see what happened to their cats. One of the cats was euthanized due to the severe injuries.
The Indian student who is studying at the University of Texas at Dallas was arrested a couple of years back in connection with the case. The criminal court gave the verdict in the animal abuse case. The shocking visuals captured by the CCTV was played in the court hall as the evidence.
