We are living in a social media era and the platform has become a huge arena. Social media has become a big platform for people to share their opinions and stand on various issues. However, social media has become toxic if we look at what has been happening in the past few years.

As the deadly trend of the toxic nature of social media, trolls and objectionable comments on the judiciary have been going on in Andhra Pradesh. AP CID has decided to deal with such comments with an iron fist and the required measures are being taken.

Speaking to the media, Andhra Pradesh CID chief Sanjay said that objectionable posts against Chief Minister and High Court judges will not be tolerated and the accounts would be deleted. He also said that legal action would be initiated on such profiles and people.

The AP CID Chief said that fake accounts can be traced and people should not think that their accounts cannot be identified. Strict action will be initiated on the accounts and posts. We will impose strict action against such people he said.

Those who make objectionable posts about the Chief Minister and his family members will attract strict action. We will not shy away from seizing the assets of those who make objectionable comments. Such behaviour will not be tolerated and everyone needs to know this, he said.

Adding further, the CID chief said that those who are making such posts living in other nations were identified and they are holding talks with the concerned embassies to initiate the action. CID teams are holding talks with them, he said.
