Leaders From Which Communities Won In AP In 2024?

The Election episode in Andhra Pradesh was finished and we saw a clear winner. People in the state gave a bigger mandate to the alliance than they gave to the YCP in 2019. Alliance won over 160 seats while the YCP was restricted to just 11 seats. The new government is expected to take charge soon.

As the results are out, interesting data has come out which talks about the community-wise data of leaders who won the elections in 2024. A few communities stood at the top as far as the numbers are concerned.

Kamma, and Reddy, are the dominant communities in Andhra Pradesh's political picture and the communities won the highest number of seats combined. 35 Kamma candidates won the elections followed by Reddy(32). SC community is at the third position with 29 seats. The Kapu factor was evident in the elections this time. True to this, 18 members from the Kapu+Balija community emerged victorious.
