Big Trouble In Front Of Ganta, Can He Win Bheemili Seat?

Former Minister, TDP senior leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao is contesting from the Bheemili seat for the second time. This is quite a contrast to Ganta’s political philosophy. If we look at his political career, the seats from where he contests change in every election. Changing the constituency has become his political sentiment almost. But he gave a break to the trend in 2019.

Without joining others and continuing in the TDP he contested from the Vizag North seat. The anti-sentiment might have shown its impact as Ganta who often wins the elections with a big margin won the Vizag west seat with a small margin. Before the 2019 polls, it was reported that Ganta would join the YCP. But this did not happen as his disciple Avanthi joined the YCP.

On the other hand, for the 2024 elections, Ganta kept another sentiment aside, contesting from the same seat. In the 2014 polls, Ganta contested from the Bheemili seat. Now he is contesting from the same seat. Many say that this trend might pose a big problem for him.

Many say that Ganta will be available for the people only for the elections and after that, he would not be available. A camp office would be set up there and an in-charge is likely to be appointed. His PA and PS would stay there and if the locals have any issues then they have to approach them. Avanthi Srinivas is already targeting Ganta Srinivasa Rao saying that he lives in Vizag and even the party leaders cannot meet him despite waiting for hours.

As this was the experience of a few leaders earlier, people are keenly observing Avanthi’s comments. With this Ganta is forced to prove that he would be available for the people. There is a big criticism that despite winning the Vizag North seat he was not available for the voters for five years. YCP is using the same in the campaign.

The party leaders are asking if they would elect people like Ganta as MLA who would not be available or elect someone like Avanthi who will be available. As the comments are getting popular, many say that Ganta might face troubles. Ganta is busy saying that instead of his representatives, he would be available for the people.

He is also promising the people that he would be with the people and address their issues. People observe everything keenly. They want their MLA to be close to them and address the issues. This opinion might shape the public mandate.

Currently, Ganta is busy inviting the unhappy leaders in YCP. Though he is putting in all the effort, winning the Bhimili seat might be a big task for him as there are over 3 lakh voters. It would be a big danger if he underestimates Avanthi. As Ganta is known for drawing big strategies, this might help him.
