The KCR-led BRS entered the elections hoping to score a hattrick. But it fell short of reaching the expectations and lost. Having won two consecutive elections it could not win the third term. From the ruling side, the BRS which played an active role in the state movement became the opposition side.

After a big setback, the BRS shifted its focus on to the Lok Sabha polls. The opposition party is confident that the Lok Sabha polls will be a three-faced battle and they can win more seats.

Now former IT Minister KTR came up with a new observation. He said that things would have been different had people who were not the beneficiaries of the schemes played a key role and voted against the party.

KTR reportedly said that the schemes played a key role in this and those who are not the beneficiaries voted against the party and if there was no such confusion from non-beneficiaries things would have been different.

At a meeting, KTR reportedly said that those who are not the beneficiaries of the welfare schemes were the difference and the confusion they had left a big impact. While beneficiaries voted for BRS, non-beneficiaries voted against BRS, he reportedly said.

When we talk about BRS development comes to our mind as sectors like IT, Real Estate, and others blossomed. The investments also flourished in the state. However, the party never ignored the welfare and implemented various schemes for the beneficiaries.

Schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, and others can be cited as examples. Despite this, the party lost the polls. Going by the comments made by the former Minister, it looks like the confusion about the schemes among the people made the difference which cost a big time for the BRS. Let us wait and see how the party rectifies this.
