Can MP Elections Change The Fate Of Barrelakka

Ahead of the general elections, a lady contest with no big background and financial strength created a sensation. The candidate who is a graduate announced she would be the voice for the unemployed in the Assembly House if elected and her election manifesto recorded downloads in big numbers.

The graduate who was behind the sensation is Karne Shireesha aka Barrelakka. She grabbed everyone’s attention with the decision to contest the elections as an independent candidate. She received support from many people including JD Lakshmi Narayana.

However, she could not taste victory in the elections. In the fight between the heavyweights, Barrelakka lost the elections and stood in the fourth position. In the Kollapur seat, she managed to get just 5,754 votes.

Barrelakka is gearing up for another sensation. It is said that she is all set to contest as the MP. She reportedly told the media that she would try her luck in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Talking about her election experience she said that she was happy with what she achieved and she was moved by the experience as around 6,000 people voted for her without taking any money.

There is a trend in Telangana that leaders who changed their seats won elections. Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar who lost as the MLAs moved to the Parliamentary elections. This brought fortune to them and they became successful. Who knows Barrelakka might see success in MP elections.
