No Relief To Chandrababu Even With Vacation Bench!
Now the petition will be listed before the Chief Justice and the CJ will take a call on which bench the petition should be listed.
Since his arrest, Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu has been exploring all the possible legal options to get out of the prison and have relief. But he is yet to have a breather. It is known that the interim bail petition he filed was adjourned by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh earlier.
The bail petition came before the vacation bench today. But the case saw a big twist with the justice refusing to hear the petition. It is said that the judge said not before me. As a result, the hearing was adjourned to the 30th of this month.
Now the petition will be listed before the Chief Justice and the CJ will take a call on which bench the petition should be listed. Based on that we would get clarity on which bench will hear the petition and what will be the hearing date.
His petition getting adjourned is not the first time. Earlier, the High Court said that the petition would be heard after the Dasara holidays. However, the lawyers representing Chandrababu Naidu requested the Court to list the petition before the vacation bench.
The Court said yes to this and the petition came before the vacation bench. But Chandrababu Naidu did not get the required relief as the judge said not before me. It is said that the petition might be heard on the 30th of this month.
The petition was filed in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to seek interim bail for him in the case after the ACB Court refused to give the bail. However, the TDP boss did not get the relief he wanted in the case.
Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent to jail in the AP Skill Development scam by the CID. It's been more than one and a half months since he was sent to remand.
