In a historic moment, ISRO's Chandrayaan landed on the moon and made us proud. Indians living here and in other nations also celebrated the big occasion. As an example of how interested people are about the landing, the ISRO channel is said to have recorded the highest views in the world.

The rover released from the spacecraft started doing its work and it is busy exploring the surface. It sent a picture of the moon's surface before landing and it looks stunning. Saying that the landing process was started, ISRO shared a video that captured the moments before the landing.

The video shared by the ISRO shows the moments before the landing and how the spacecraft touched the surface. The video shows the surface coming closer as the spacecraft gets close to the surface and having a landing.

The viral video ends with the spacecraft landing on the moon's surface. Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) captions the post saying that this is how the Lander Image camera covered the visuals.

"Here is how the Lander Imager Camera captured the moon's image just prior to touchdown," ISRO said. In the previous tweet, ISRO shared a small video which shows the Rover coming out from the Lander.

Chandrayaan-3 marks the successful moon mission of India. With this, India became the only nation to have a successful landing on the south pole of the moon. It is known that Chandrayaan-2 crashed. So ISRO made sure that the mistakes were not repeated which helped the spacecraft to safely land.
