China’s Lunar Mission: Vehicle Lands On The Far Side!

Dragon Country China scripted history with its massive achievement. Its Lunar mission was successful. A few nations completed the lunar missions earlier. But what China did is different from the previous missions. The reason is that China achieved what other nations could not achieve with their missions.

China’s Chang’e-6 had a successful landing on the moon’s surface. Not just that it also brought sand and other materials from the surface. The vehicle landed on the far side of the moon and collected the materials.

So far the countries have landed on only one side of the moon. But China added another feather to its cap and landed on the far side. The samples it collected would help in studying the origin of the moon and solar system.

The vehicle took around 53 days to land on the destination. The vehicle started its work on the surface. It had dug the sand and stones on the surface and gathered them. The particles were stored in it after the digging.

This would be a new achievement of China which is putting serious efforts into exploring the Moon and its surface. Back in 2005, its vehicle landed on the near side of the Moon. The landing helped the nation in its study.

Cut to 2024, China extended its success by landing on the far side of the moon and collecting the samples. The experts would study the samples to get answers to many questions on the origins of the Moon and others.
