United States president Donald Trump has been undergoing a significant medical condition as his hand has been showing signs of extreme damage and fatigue. Now, it has reached a new low point after Trump’s hand showed extreme weakness while he stepped out at the Davos Summit.

President Donald Trump was asked earlier on Air Force One about an unusually large bruise that was visible on his left hand during today’s events in Davos, to which he responded.

“I'm very good. I clipped it on the table. So I put a little what do they call it? cream on it. But I clipped it. I would say, take aspirin if you like your heart, but don't take aspirin if you don't want to have a little bruising. If you take the big I take the big aspirin. When you take the big aspirin they tell you, you bruise.”

White House has always claimed that his right hand had bruises due to too much shaking of hands. In July 2025, President Trump, at age 79, was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common, manageable condition affecting vein function in the legs, often linked to age and standing for long periods.

The White House described it as benign, with the President continuing in excellent health.

Medical professionals attribute Trump's recurring hand bruises to his daily 325mg aspirin, which thins blood and heightens bruising from minor traumas like handshakes or bumps. Experts also note his chronic venous insufficiency, a common, benign condition in older adults causing skin changes.
