See who is most upset by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special session of Parliament? It is KCR. By his sudden announcement of the special session of Parliament from September 18 till September 22, Narendra Modi has kept every political party guessing as to what would come up at the special session.

Wild guesses were made and preparations were made by the opposition to counter if and when the Uniform Civil Code would come up. The opposition parties were unable to identify the issues that would come up in the special session. But, when the session was on, the women’s reservation issue came up and all the parties were forced to suspend their protests and simply fall in line.

But, for BRS chief KCR this special session has meant a loss of at least 20 days. His early announcement of the candidates for the upcoming assembly elections has completely gone waste due to this session. For the past 20 days, the candidates and the party waited for something big to happen. They felt that there would be common elections to the state assembly and the Lok Sabha.

Now, it turns out that there is no immediate proposal for joint elections. The party candidates and the apparatus now feel that they have lost a good 20 days due to the guessing game that Modi has drawn them into. The BRS boss is said to be unhappy because no one could gauge Modi’s mind and that there were no leaks from the BJP at all.
