Demand And Supply Should Be Followed: Kethireddy's Analysis!

The YSRCP is slowly coming to terms with the humiliating defeat. The party went to elections with the slogan of winning 175 seats. However, the party barely managed to win just 11 seats. Jagan, Roja, and others raised their doubts about EVMs. YS Jagan is meeting the leaders to discuss the reasons for the defeat.

A few former MLAs said that there was no connection between the legislators and the people as the funds were directly released into the accounts of the people and at the ground level Volunteers worked. Observers say that this might be a big reason behind this.

Out of all the YCP MLAs, Kethireddy Venkatarami Reddy losing the election is a big shock.

He was active and met people regularly. Under the Good Morning Dharmavaram program, he met the people and asked them about their problems. While some of them were addressed on the spot the officials were directed to look into other issues.

Despite this, he lost the election. After the results were out he also raised doubt on the EVMs. Now he came up with another analysis and said that not following demand and supply policy might have led to the defeat.

He said that he observed the demand and supply aspect in the scenario. One should ask and then we should do the work. Doing work without asking would have no value. The same happened everywhere, he said.

Even with my Good Morning program, I came to know that meeting people daily might have left an impact. Identifying the program and addressing them without asking might have worked against me. Earlier it used to be like if a borewell should be set up then they should meet the MLA and request for the same. Then the MLA looks into it and takes time. After consulting the villagers, the bore is sanctioned and then it is opened. But I tried to change it and maybe this is not good, he added.
