Kishan Reddy to gradually replace Bandi Sanjay's men
BJP insiders say that Kishan Reddy has been asked to deactivate the network that Bandi Sanjay has built.
It is now almost certain that the new president of the Telangana BJP G Kishan Reddy has decided to make his mark in the state BJP organisation. He has reportedly decided to ensure that he has his team in place for the upcoming elections in the organisation. He reportedly has obtained permission from the national leader to effect some changes in the organisation.
According to BJP insiders, he has decided to replace at least four district unit presidents in the state. The sources say that the presidents of Vikarabad, Nizamabad and Peddapalli could be changed. At the same time, two new vice presidents would be inducted into the team. One of them could be Dubbak MLA Raghunandan Rao, said sources.
BJP insiders say that Kishan Reddy has been asked to deactivate the network that Bandi Sanjay has built. The reason is that the network was serving only the former president of the state unit and was not working in tandem with seniors and the new entrants into the party. Kishan Reddy has reportedly been tasked to ensure smooth functioning of the party.
If sources are to be believed, Kishan Reddy wanted to change the whole set up. However, both national organising secretary BL Santosh and state incharge Sunil Bansal did not agree to this. They have rejected some of the proposals put forth by Kishan Reddy. They suggested that only changes that are absolutely necessary should be made.
