When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi put up a proposal, the United Nations accepted it in 2015 and we have been celebrating the day since then. Today is the international Yoga Day and events were held across the nation as part of this.

However, a Union Minister had an unpleasant experience. Due to this, he had to cancel the event and leave. The Yoga Day event was held at Delhi University. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the event. However, it is said that the event was canceled due to protests from the students.

It is known that NEET and UGC-NET exams are a sensation in the country. Paper leak allegations are being faced on this. Students are hitting the roads to protest. The protests reached the Delhi University. It is said that students held placards demanding justice and raised slogans.

Seeing this the Minister is believed to have canceled the event and left. It is said that even the security personnel were not informed about this and suddenly the event was called off. What happened is a shock as the Union Minister was forced to leave the place in the wake of the protests.

It is known that the UGC Net exam was canceled by the government after a probe panel found alleged irregularities. This led to intense protests from the students who took the exam. On the other hand, CBI would probe the matter and we might hear about the re-exam soon.
