This is what the survey undertaken by India Today magazine in association with the C Voter. The mood of the nation poll says that the BJP-led NDA will get up to 306 seats and will garner 43 per cent vote.
According to the survey, the BJP on its own, could cross the half way mark at is likely to end up with 287 seats. Though it is 13 down from the current tally of 303, it will still see the BJP at the help of the country. Its vote share too is likely to go up from 39 per cent in 2019 to 43 per cent votes. The Congress-led I.N.D.I.A front is likely to get up to 193 seats and is all set to get up to 41 per cent votes.
The mood of the nation has some cheerful news for the Congress Party too. Its tally is likely to get up to 77 seats, which is up from the 2019 tally. Of the I.N.D.I.A partners, the Trinamool Congress Party is likely to make a massive gain. The alliance is likely to get up to 24 seats, while the BJP will get up to 18 seats. This means the BJP will get almost identical number of seats in West Bengal this time too.
The BJP's biggest gain, according to the mood of the nation survey, would be in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The party is all set to win 72 of the 80 seats. It is likely to get up to 49 per cent votes. This only means that Yogi Adityanath will emerge stronger from the 2024 elections. The SP, which is a constituent of the Congress-led group will get 8 seats.
