India is home to talented people and we can see Indian-origin people as the CEOs of global companies. This is the trend across the sectors. Recently an Ambassador made sensational comments on this and said companies are showing interest in roping in Indian-origin people as the CEOs.

Google, the leading search engine, also has Indian-origin as the CEO. Sundar Pichai is serving as the CEO. Now he is said to be very close to a big achievement. As per the information, he might enter an elite list and add more not worth to his name.

As per the tracking of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Sundar Pichai’s fortune is heading towards the massive $1 billion. Usually, CEOs getting a big fortune is not a big thing. But Sundar’s achievement is not an ordinary thing as he is the only non-founder tech executive to do so.

Sundar Pichai had an interesting journey. He hails from a humble family from Tamil Nadu. Their family lived in a two-room apartment. Their family getting a rotary telephone changed everything for Pichai as he was introduced to the technology.

Due to his interest, he shined in academics in school and College and went abroad for higher studies. When he went to Stanford University on a scholarship, his family spent $1,000 on tickets and other expenses. The amount was quite high compared to their earnings.

His life changed largely when he joined Google. His stint with Google started as a product manager. His appointment as the CEO was a game-changer which happened in 2015. Since then Google has been seeing a big growth and the stocks increased by a few folds.

As another feather to his cap, Sundar Pichai is said to be moving close to a $1 billion fortune. No other non-founder tech executive has managed to do this and Sundar Pichai is on the verge of doing the same.
