Severe weather conditions have unleashed destruction across various states in America, causing roofs and buildings to collapse under the ferocity of the strong winds. Tornadoes have added to the chaos, creating a terrifying scenario for residents. The storms have been devastating, with reports indicating that approximately 35 individuals have lost their lives, and numerous others have suffered injuries. Among the affected, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) family from Andhra Pradesh has been plunged into deep mourning due to a heartbreaking incident in North Carolina.

During these tragic events, two young children belonging to an NRI family originally from Tenali in Guntur district met their demise. The sorrowful news has cast a shadow over Tenali Aitanagar, marking a period of mourning. The catastrophic incident occurred while the children were asleep, leading to the partial collapse of their residence. Sharon Nathaniel, the children's mother and daughter of Bishop Gaddam Thomas from Tenali, had married American Nathaniel Liviska in 2007, and the family had since made America their home. The couple was blessed with two sons and a daughter, living together until this unforeseen tragedy struck their lives.

The strong winds have not only resulted in fatalities but have also caused significant structural damage. In Oklahoma alone, it is estimated that around 300 houses have been completely destroyed. The impact of these storms has been widely felt, with Kansas, Missouri's Baker's Field area, Mississippi, Amarillo in Texas, Arkansas, and Alabama among the most affected regions. The death toll includes 8 individuals from Kansas, 12 from Missouri, 6 from Mississippi, and 3 each from Amarillo, Arkansas, and Alabama.

The unfortunate demise of the two children, Sadhu Joshiah, aged 13, and Joshua Ashew, aged 11, occurred when a large tree fell on their house amidst the storm's fury in the early hours of a Sunday. The family, which had been residing in America, faced this calamity, sending shockwaves back to their relatives in India. Sharon's mother, Mary Grace, and brother, Sadhu Thomas, made immediate arrangements to travel to America upon receiving the distressing news, hoping to provide support and deal with the aftermath of this tragedy.

This incident highlights the destructive power of natural disasters and the profound impact they can have on families, irrespective of geographic boundaries. The story of the NRI family from Andhra Pradesh, facing such a grave loss far from their homeland, underscores the unpredictable nature of life and the importance of community support during times of despair.
