The ruling YSRCP is going forward aggressively with an election win as the target. The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party wants to win a second consecutive win. For this, the party is also making big decisions and changing candidates. The sitting leaders are asked to vacate the seats while a few others are denied tickets.

The party is announcing in-charges for the constituencies in a phased manner. The other day candidates for 6 Lok Sabha seats and 15 Assembly seats were announced by the party. Minister Jogi Ramesh was shifted to Penamaluru from his sitting position Pedana seat.

This came as a big blow to sitting Penamaluru MLA Kolusu Parthasarathi. When two Cabinets were formed by the YCP many predicted that he would get a spot. Unfortunately, he was denied a spot in both cabinets. Now he was denied a ticket as Jogi Ramesh was given a ticket from Penamaluru.

Kolusu Parthasarathi who faced a big blow by being denied a ticket for the upcoming polls spoke to the media and expressed his dissatisfaction. He said that he might have been denied a ticket as he cannot abuse others to please someone.

Maybe I cannot beat anyone or use objectionable language against them, others might have given the ticket. I am objecting to this because they might have kept me aside as I cannot do such things to please them. Talking about further course of action, I have been associated with the people of Vuyyuru and Penamaluru. With the blessing of every community, I am here now. After talking to them I will take the right call, he said.

The MLA also made some crucial comments on expressing his dissatisfaction with the party. Talking about this, he said that he didn't think what he had done was wrong as he only expressed his sadness about the party leader not resigning him despite doing a lot of hard work.

As he was denied ticket reports started doing rounds that he would take the TDP route. When asked about this he said that he cannot talk about the reports and he will talk about his next actions soon.
