Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced an ambitious plan to develop 'Rajiv Park' in Hyderabad, inspired by New York's Central Park. The idea behind this project is to create a vast urban park that offers a green oasis in the bustling city. Rajiv Park will be located in Koluvudeera, West Hyderabad, and will feature an elevated observatory deck, allowing visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the city.

Central Park in New York serves as a model for this development. Spanning 843 acres in Manhattan, it is a historic park known for its lush landscapes, cultural monuments, and various recreational facilities. Every year, millions of tourists visit Central Park to experience its attractions, including a zoo, theaters, food courts, and spaces for sports and cultural activities.

In addition to Rajiv Park, the Telangana government is planning to develop 4,100 acres around the park for residential and commercial complexes. These areas will cater to billionaires and celebrities, offering ultra-luxury housing with modern amenities such as private pools, gyms, spas, and high-level security. The goal is to attract high-net-worth individuals and expatriates to live in this exclusive area, boosting the local real estate market.

The concept of observatory decks, popular in cities like Shanghai, Dubai, and Tokyo will be integrated into Rajiv Park. These decks provide visitors with breathtaking views from great heights. The world’s tallest observatory deck is currently in Shanghai Tower, China, standing at 562 meters. By incorporating similar features Hyderabad aims to create a landmark that will not only enhance the city’s skyline but also become a major tourist attraction.
