Single Screen Theatres Opted For Temporary Shut Down?

Summer is one of the big seasons for the Tollywood industry. In every season we see big stars' movies hitting the theatres. But the summer season was different this time as there were no big releases. There are a few reasons for this.Now the movie lovers faced another shock.

As per the information that is coming, the theatres will be shut in Telangana for two weeks. It is said that the single-screen theatres would be shut. Entertainment lovers have to go for the OTTs to consume the content.

Election fever and ongoing IPL are getting all the attention. With this, everyone’s attention is on the two areas. Moreover, films of big heroes did not have any release. With no film releases near the single screens were reportedly shut. However, there is no clarity on whether the screens would be opened if any big releases happen.

While the other theatres have nothing to do with this, the temporary shut down concerns only the single-screen theatres. The concerned body took the decision concerning various issues.

Usually, we see summer buzz at theatres with big releases. But that did not happen. One is that the election fever is all over the country and the IPL is going on interestingly providing good entertainment to fans.

Another reason is that the maintenance costs of the theatres are said to have increased. With this, the temporary shutdown decision was taken. Let us wait and see what would happen next.
