The TDP has its eyes on winning the elections and coming to power. The opposition party already announced the first list and brought the opposition parties under one roof. BJP, TDP, and Janasena formed an alliance and are ready to go to elections together.

TDP announced 94 candidates in the first list and 34 candidates made it to the second list. The rest of the candidates might feature in the next list. However, the second list raises questions about the seniors.

When the first list did not feature the seniors who served as the Cabinet Minister in the previous tenure many felt that they might get a second chance. But the second list also had no space for the seniors which is strange.

The likes of Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Bandaru Satya Narayana, Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy, KS Jawahar, Devineni Uma, Alapati Raja and Kommalapati Sreedhar did not feature in the list.

The only chance they have now is the third list. If they could not get a chance then it would be an endgame for the seniors. If the alliance comes to power then they might get any posts.

As seniors like Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and Chintamaneni Prabhakar featured on the second list it is common to expect the other seniors also get a ticket.

The TDP is not shying away from asking the candidates to move to other seats. As an example, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy was given a seat in another constituency.

Earlier Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that he was asked to move to another seat and he would think about this. It is said that if Ganta takes any call on this then he might get clarity on this or else no one can help him.

Reports are abuzz that the same might be the case with the other seniors. They might have been asked to move to other seats or else the party might be thinking beyond them. If this is the case then the seniors would have to look for other options.
