Andhra Pradesh which went for the elections recently is all set to face another election. This time it is the MLC election in the state. Two seats are vacant under the MLA quota and the elections are expected to be held next month. Given the strength, the TDP will win both seats.

As per the information the TDP had fixed two names for the MLC picks. The two leaders were picked based on the hard work they put in the recent elections. In a bid to honor them, they are said to have been picked. It is said that SVSN Varma and Iqbal were picked.

SVSN Varma: The TDP leader is a big name in Pithapuram. He earlier served as the MLA. He was supposed to get the Pithapuram ticket. But he sacrificed his ticket and worked hard for Pawan Kalyan’s win. He even said that Pawan Kalyan would enter the Assembly cruising the gate in response to YCP leaders' comments.

Varma not only sacrificed his ticket but also made his followers work for Pawan. We have seen what happened in the elections. Pawan won the seat with a big margin.

Iqbal: The former IG was with the YCP earlier and he even contested against Balakrishna in Hindupur in the last elections. However, he joined the TDP ahead of the elections. In the campaign, he gave his best for Balakrishna’s win in the Hindupur seat.

While Balakrishna and others campaigned, Iqbal also hit the roads and made his supporters work for the Nandamuri hero. It is said that he was promised an MLC seat when he joined the TDP.
