Congress guarantees turn six headaches for BRS?

The six guarantees that the Congress have become the hottest topic of discussion in the political circles of Telangana. While the detractors are questioning how the Congress will pool up resources for the implementation of the six guarantees, the supporters argue that the Congress has done the same thing quite successfully in neighbouring Karnataka and that there should be no doubt about the implementation.

The BRS leaders are said to be busy assessing the impact of the six guarantees of the Congress Party on the voters. Surveys are being conducted in various constituencies to gauge the mood of the public. The party leaders are of the opinion that the BRS too should come up with something innovative to beat the Congress Party.

The Congress on the other hand is confident that the six guarantees will help it to sail through. They feel that the party had popularised the guarantees in Karnataka within just 100 days. The same can be done in Telangana too, they argue. They feel that a concerted campaign is the need of the hour.

The Congress also strongly feels that the BRS is already on the defensive due to the failure of most of its election promises. The Dalit Bandhu and the other such schemes have raised more questions than they answered. Similarly, there are complaints over Dharani and other schemes. Hence all these are going to benefit the Congress Party, its leaders argue.
