Union Government To Take A Call On Bharat Ratna For NTR?

Honoring legendary personality NTR with Bharat Ratna is not a new demand and it has been going on for a very long time. The demand got big momentum after the state bifurcation as the divided Andhra Pradesh has been strong on the demand.

Now it is said that the Union Government is likely to take a call on this. As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching the Union Cabinet is said to have chaired a key meeting and the issue would be discussed. Reports say that the Cabinet might discuss the issue at the meeting.

The Indian government already announced the Bharat Ratna awards for five famous personalities across the fields this year. If everything goes well then we might also see the Bharat Ratna demand for NTR gets addressed.

The main reason is that TDP is back into the NDA alliance. TDP has been trying hard for the demand and if the demand is addressed then it can see a big success. This will also be a big moment for the Telugu community.

Another thing is that the Andhra Pradesh elections are not that far. NTR getting honoured with the Award might be a big point in the campaign. A special coin was released by the Centre earlier. Now we might see big news coming from the Centre on this as per the reports.

If there is any chance then the TDP would give the best efforts as people would ask what is the point in joining the alliance when NTR cannot be honored with Bharat Ratna. Ruling YSRCP also scored good marks by naming a district after NTR. Considering all these points NTR might get the big honour.

It's very rare for the leaders from the South to shine big in National politics. But NTR created a special space for himself and even brought all the parties under one roof against the Congress.
